New Students

Immigration Orientation for Fall 2008 New Students

When: Friday, August 22, 9-12 noon
What: All new international students are required to attend. Information about maintaining your legal status and medical insurance as well as information about activities and events will be covered. Breakfast will be served.
Where: Park-GC 140 & Biscayne Bay Campus-WUC 155

Graduate Student Orientation (Including Immigration Orientation for new international graduate students)

When: Monday, August 18, 9-12 noon
What: All new graduate student are required to attend. New international students will participate in the immigration orientation for new international graduate students following the general graduate student orientation.

Current Students

Medical Insurance: As of July 1, 2008 medical insurance enrollment and release of insurance service indicators(insurance holds) will be handled by University Health Services at University Park and Biscayne Bay.

Summer 2008 graduates may apply for OPT now. The deadline for summer is September 26, however it is recommended you apply as soon as possible to take advantage of the full 12 months. You must complete the on-line practical training workshop and schedule an appointment with an advisor.
