SDG Challenge Miami – Deep Dive @ FIU by Office of Global Learning Initiatives & Office of Sustainability	Students, Faculty, Staff	Join the SDG Deep Dive 2025, an engaging event dedicated to exploring the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This session will bring together students, faculty, and experts to discuss innovative strategies addressing food insecurity and food waste, as well as coral reef restoration and conservation. Participants will gain insights into pressing global challenges and contribute to forward-thinking discussions that shape a more sustainable future.

TTR: Crossing Borders: The Copperbridge Connection by Office of Global Learning Initiatives	Students, Faculty, Staff	This Tuesday Times Roundtable highlights the Copperbridge Foundation’s mission to foster dialogue and cultural exchange through the arts. Founded by Geo Darder, the foundation connects creatives across the Americas and is now developing a Community Art Hub in North Miami to host exhibitions, performances, and residencies while demonstrating the power of the arts to bridge cultures and build inclusive communities.

We will use donations to build shoeboxes together during our packing party on Tuesday, November 18th. Students, Faculty, Staff	A hands-on interactive culinary class hosting 10 participants. Participants will learn how to make a typical Asian stir-fried rice and enjoy what they make in the class. Participants should come professionally dressed to enter and work in the kitchen lab safely: This means: no shorts, no open toed shoes or heels, a comfortable shirt and pants as well as an FIU baseball hat for hair covering. We will supply a professional chef coat for participants to borrow.
